Mac High Sierra Finder Crash Glitch
The new Mac OS – High Sierra – was out a few days ago. Despite having failed once during the upgrade process, which caused me to re-run, High Sierra is observably faster than the previous OS version.
Nevertheless, the joy of speed didn’t last long. My Finder starts to randomly crash when I click on some folders. Upon clicking some particular folders, for reasons that I don’t know, the Finder shows a shivering window and becomes unresponsive.
Solution
- Close the glitchy window using the shortcut — command-w
- Wait for Apple to release the next update. In the meanwhile, you can use terminal commands to navigate to view and open files.
